Payment Information: All build up orders require a 50% deposit from the time the model is in the shop. When completed the remainder of fee will be paid in full before shipment or sent C.O.D. All build up orders are final sales, are non refundable and cannot be canceled. I reserve the right to refuse my services. Please Note: All of the models that I receive present different levels of building problems. This means that they will require me to reconstruct, fill, sculpt, sand, prime and paint all the parts to fit in a manner to bring them back to the original concept, however there’s always problems when building custom models. This can result in delays and can affect delivery time. Most of the clients that I build models or props for request Special Lighting applications. I can design a new lighting system for the model or prop. There will be additional fees for this service. All lighting kits are custom add on parts. When ordering my service:
How long ? Build-ups for figures can take 4-6 weeks to complete project. Build-ups for Spacecrafts, Vehicles and hardware can take up to 90 days or more. Scratch Build-ups and prototype building can take 4 months to 1 year or more depending on complexity of model or prop.
Danger & Hazard Warning When sanding wear approved respirator protection. Avoid skin and eye contact. Work in area with adequate ventilation. Wear safety glasses at all times. Wear approved safety equipment. Always adhere to all safety and product warning labels. Adult supervision recommended. WARNING: To guard against injury, basic safety precautions should be observed, including the following: 1. Read and follow ALL safety warnings, instructions and notices. 2. Do not use equipment for other than its intended purpose. 3. Do not alter design or construction. 4. DANGER: To prevent the risk of severe or fatal electrical shock. Always disconnect power before performing any maintenance. 5. Do not operate if power cord or plug is damaged. 6. Electrical power supplied MUST match power requirements listed. 7. CAUTION: Do not operate without proper electrical ground.
General Led Handling Precaution: CAUTION: The LED can cause permanent damage to eyes at close range. You should never look directly at the light source of the LED. CAUTION: LEDs are static sensitive devices. Wear grounding wrist strap. When attaching leads, the leads should be at a point at least 3mm from The base of the LEDs. Avoid damage to LEDs by not soldering more than 3 seconds with a 700* iron. Do not use LEDs without a current limit resistor. The forward voltage rating is typical and can very from part to part. LEDs may work fine connected to a battery of proper voltage, other LEDs will be over driven and destroyed! Always use a resistor in line with LEDs.
Warranty & Refund Policy Voodoofx is not responsible for improper installation. There are no refunds on electrical parts or components. All custom lighting kits are nonrefundable. Prices are subject to change at any time. All sales are final. Batteries not included. All returned products must be authorized by VoodooFx with proof of purchase. There is a $20.00 restock fee for all returned products. CAUTION: These kits contains small parts which may be hazardous to children. Adult supervision is required. What you are ordering are custom models or props, they are delicate and fragile when completed. They cannot be thrown in a box and shipped standard Ground. Each piece is different and proposes different levels of packing difficulty. We prefer ship US Postal Express overnight air first class or 2nd day air for Built and Painted Items. Any other way and you risk damage to the model or prop. No shipping on Friday - Sunday. Shipping can range from $10-$100 or more in the U.S., depending on size and complexity. Please email for an international quote. NOTE: Customer pays for all shipping fees coming or going on any model or prop. We accept all major credit cards through Pay Pal Services.
